     今天MSN突然坏了，症状是无法登录成功，错误代码就是很多人讨论的80048820。 经常在内部网上看到同事们贴出MSN登录故障解决办法的善良贴，我从没在意，因为我的MSN从来没有出过问题。看来侥幸的心理是行不通的，今天我中彩了，早晨到办公室开机无缘无故MSN怎么也登录不成功，任凭我怎么测试连接、重启机器，甚至按照善良贴的秘籍、同事的指点都无济于事；WEB messenger也无法登录，于是按照msn-problems网站的说法：1、检查系统时间；2、注册DLL文件 。 都无效！  只好使出最无奈的下流手段了，卸载重新安装，让我绝望的是卸载失败。 多次重启机器，卸载、修复都无法进行。 以为是installer出了问题，打算重新安装一次installer，结果提示我是最新版；此时在服务器上发现了MSN的安装程序，尝试修复安装成功了。登录成功了。 原因不明。

当MSN无法登录提示80048820时，尝试如下办法，如果仍然搞不定你就有义务继续写第4条了：
1.当你的MSN 无法登录，且提示错误代码为80048820，这种问题一般是由于你的系统时间不对，先校准系统时间。
2.如果仍然无法登录，可能是由于DLL文件注册信息丢失，在WINDOWS的"开始"菜单下选择"运行",然后依次键入:   
regsvr32 softpub.dll 回车

regsvr32 mssip32.dll 回车

regsvr32 intippki.dll 回车

3、下载MSN Messenger重新安装一遍

MSN Messenger老是登陆不了，出现：“0x81000370错误”，卸载安装了多次都是这样，然后GOOGLE的网页搜索里到处找，就发现了下面的解决方法。

可能有许多原因导致不能登录到 .NET Messenger Service或在登陆时出现种种错误(例如：“0x81000370错误”)。这些问题通常可以用下面几个方法之一解决：

1.你的电脑上的“日期/时间属性”是否设置正确：双击时间，检查日期和时间是否正确设置。

2.如果你的帐号和密码没有在MSN中保存，你需要确认你输入的帐号和密码是正确的(请注意大小写字母及帐号的后缀)。

8.防火墙和第三方应用程序可能会影响连接到 MSN Messenger。您可以禁用应用程序、防火墙或打开防火墙相应端口，然后尝试连接到 .Net MessengerService。

我好像是运行了“regsvr32 softpub.dll”这个命令解决问题的。刚运行完命令也登陆不了，过一会就能登陆了，记录一下!

经常msn无法正常登录，在google上查阅多种解决方案都没能解决。卸载重装也不行，于是找到C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger 下的一个文件夹删除之(可能是记录的一些登陆信息)，然后重新登陆成功。

谢谢楼主,方法管用的.就是删掉MSN Messenger这个文件夹就管用了.
至于找不到这个文件夹的人, 试试如下的办法,也是一样的:

Windows 98 or Millenium users
1) Click Start > Run
2) Type: %windir% and press enter.
3) Open Application Data and then the Microsoft folder.
4) Right-click the MSN Messenger folder and delete it.


Note: if you're using Profiles with Windows 98/ME, you'll need to go to the Profiles folder, choose your username and then go to the Application Data folder (then continue with the same
process). If you don't know if you have Profiles setup, most likely you do not (if you don't have Profiles folder in the Windows folder, then you aren't).

- Windows 2000 or Windows XP users
1) Click Start > Run
2) Type: %appdata%\Microsoft and press enter.
3) Right-click the MSN Messenger folder and delete it.

Now restart MSN Messenger and try to sign in again...

后来我想估计我以前下载的7.5版本不是在官方网站下载的,可能不行.我就在卸载一次,然后上MSN官方网站下载一个Messenger 7.5,再安装,呵呵,这次再登陆,嘿,就登录上去了

我先给大家个应急的办法-------在用户里新建一个用户名，用这个新建的用户开机就可以登录msn了，企盼有更好的解决办法


被安装了恶意软件。
检查一下注册表的HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run。

我刚通过http://messenger.china.msn.com/Help/#LQ9的清除了“我使用代理服务器”复选框方法解决了问题。
看来是不该有代理设置。

终于解决了！进入7.0的“个人设置”，再进入“连接”，再进入“高级设置”，把socks和http框里的内容都删除，再试试“测试TCP连接”，done！～～～～～

我刚试过楼上所提的
在WINDOWS的"开始"菜单下选择"运行",然后依次键入:
regsvr32 softpub.dll

regsvr32 mssip32.dll

regsvr32 intippki.dll
第三个命令也出现“失败-找不到指定的模块”的提示。
再运行 regsvr32 ititpki.dll，还是无法登陆。
没辙，只能进入ie中的工具的选项，点连接进入局域网设置把代理服务器的勾去掉，然后进入msn的工具-选项-连接-高级设置-http代理服务器打上勾（即tcp及http选上，其余两项不选且去除端口的数据，http端口设置为80）。
真不容易，久违的msn7.0连接上了。

对于80048820错误的，也有可能是路由器或者代理服务器的MTU值过高，一般为1492，而本机的MTU一般为1480。可以降低路由器的mtu或者提高本机的MTU。

以下是我的经验：

1。检查你的hotmail或者msn能不能登陆。如果不能的话，就没有必要往下看了。
2。我用的是msn7.5，那个80048820的错误会给你一个对话筐，首先按照80072efd的解决方法，先把SSL的记录清除（控制面板里的internet选项），再输入regsvr32 softpub.dll wintrust.dll initpki.dll 的命令。最后一个命令可能会要时间长一些。
3。记住把系统的时间改为正确的时间（日期正确就可以了）


80048820问题解决
刚刚下载了MSN7.5版,就上不去了.
试过很多方法,关防火墙,设置什么,,都不见效,后来同步时间,问题解决,原来我把时间设置成了2008年..大家不访也试试这个方法...


终于解决了，我在安全模式下进行了如下操作：
1.找木马，没找到，但从注册表里删除了几个驱动（HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services），也就是看system32\drivers下的哪个sys文件可疑；
2.添加删除程序，windows组件，“IE 增强的安全配置”删除后重装；
3.卸载网卡驱动再重装。
再重启，所有HTTPS都能访问了！但MSN登录时又出现一个表的错误提示，只要删空X:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（此处是用户名）\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger目录即可！
三步操作因为是一次完成的，也不知道是哪一步起了作用。


按上面说的都试试，
再删除C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch下所有文件看看！

如果你用Norton防毒，错误信息是80048820 的话（我是）， 试试以下方法：
我的防火墙为Norton的,因此在Norton个人防火墙设置中,将程序列表中有MSN MESSAGE程序,左击中间下拉菜单,将其改为全部允许.

我的经验是，千万不能着急，由于设备和网络上的各种原因，要解决需要一定的耐心^o^希望能给大家一定的帮助，不胜荣幸！

我原本安装了微软的MSN Messenger6.2软件,但昨天登录时却被提示该版本软件已无法使用,并被要求升级到新版本;不过,当按要求下载了新版本的MSN7.0并试图安装时,却总被提示“安装程序因错误代码1601而安装失败。”
最后我发现一个解决方法
一、先运行msiexec /unregserver 停掉windows installer服务。

二、下载InstMsiW.exe，点击安装（我用的是officeXP 安装程序里面的InstMsiW.exe）

三、再用msiexec.exe /regserver 启用服务。OK

看看Internet选项里面连接->局域网中是否选中了代理服务器，先勾掉，试试看应该可以的。

我的也是80072efd错误，现在已经可以登陆了。

我这里出现过81000306和81000efd的错误代码,我先更新了我电脑上的时间和internet时间同步, 然后改了advanced settings(Option----Connection---清空Sock和Http Proxy的所有内容和方框里的勾,只留下TCP, ),然后在我的管理员帐户下楼主提供的位置删除了MSN MESSENGER的文件夹,现在已登陆.

80072efd的问题其实很简单 就是IE设置了代理 ， 把代理去掉就可以了，前面有一位朋友说过的。
或者是用了某种代理器之类的小软件也会产生这样的问题。只要关闭就可以了

Click Start, then Run, and enter the following:

1. The date on your computer needs to be set properly -- double click the clock verify that the time and date are set.

2. If your password information is not saved, verify that you are typing it in with the correct case (uppercase\or\lowercase).

3. Change your password @ http://memberservicesnet.passport.com/memberservice.srf to something smaller (under 10-12 characters), then try signing in again.

4. If you use a firewall (like ZoneAlarm, Norton Internet Security etc. ), it’s possible that Messenger doesn’t have the correct rights to access the Internet, especially since you upgraded. You may need to re/add Messenger to the allowed list of programs in your firewall if this is the case.

5. If you disabled your firewall in the past, it still may be blocking Messenger -- try restarting it and see if that helps the situation. You also might try uninstalling an installed firewall, to verify that it isn’t causing a problem (even if it is disabled).

6. Clear your IE cache and cookies -- open Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, then Internet Options, then click the Delete Files button, and when that’s complete click the Delete Cookies button.

7. Check your IE Security settings -- open Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, then Internet Options, then Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section, and verify that "Check for server certificate revocation" is unchecked. Also verify that ’Use SSL 2.0’ and Use SSL 3.0’ is checked, then click OK.

8. On the "Tools" menu in Internet Explorer, click "Internet Options" then click on "Connections" then click on "settings" and make sure all the 3 check boxes are UNTICKED then click OK.

9. Make sure you have the latest updates for ur Operating System. Go to this site to check wat updates you need to download:

2. In the Open box, type msiexec\ /unreg and then click OK.

3. When this process is complete, click Start, and then click Run.

4. In the Open box, type msiexec\ /regserver and then click OK

MSN6 Keeps freezing when I sign in,\or\just after I sign in.
(This fix will also usually work if you cannot sign in at all.)

1.Exit MSN Messenger Program completely
2.Click on Start, then Run, type: "regedit" (Without Quotes)
3.Navigate to MyComputer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger
4.Click the MSN Messenger Key (Click Once). Go to the Edit menu and select Delete
5.Delete the MSN Messenger folder from c:\Program Files (Replace C: with your system disk if it is something other than C)

While Installing, I encounter Error 1603 - and the installation fails.

1.Navigate to your System folder, usually c:\WINDOWS\or\c:\WinNT

2.Enter the WinSxS folder

3.You should see a folder called InstallTemp, rename it to InstallTemp2

4.Find the file x86_Microsoft.Windows.Networking.Dxmrtp_6595b64144ccf1df_5.2.0.4868_x-ww_212f7d9 e AND RENAME IT TO THIS:

Another 1603 fix

1. Click on Start -> Find -> Files\or\Folders

2. Search for sfc.dll It should be under
c:\windows\system32\

3. Rename sfc.dll to sfc.dll.x [x could be any character]

4. You should be able to do the install now.

5. After you have installed the software, change sfc.dll.x back to sfc.dll

(might have to do this in SAFE MODE)


REMOVE SAVED PASSWORD AND ACCOUNT FOR MSN MESSENGER AND WINDOWS MESSENGER ON XP

Click the Start Button, then click the Control Panel.
Then click User Accounts in the Control Panel.
Select your account name, and then on the left
side of the screen, under Related Tasks, click ’Manage my Network Passwords’.
In the window that opens, click the Passport.Net\* (Passport) entry and click ’Remove’

After this you can simply type in whatever account you wish to login to.

Make sure u have download the latest camera drivers from the Manufacturers Website.

Firstly, make sure you’ve gone through the Audio (and Video) Tuning Wizard in Messenger.
To do so, open the main Messenger window, click the Tools menu, then Audio Tuning Wizard,
then go through the wizard to select and test your audio/video devices.

If you are using type of third-party firewall (ZoneAlarm, Norton Internet Security, etc.)
make sure that in the Firewall program’s settings that Messenger is set to
"ermit All", "Allow All"\or\"Medium"(GIVE MSN MESSENGER FULL ACCESS)

If your on WINDOWS XP and are using a router (with UPnP support), you may need to remove the current port forwardings.
To do so, click Start, All Programs, Accessories, Communications, Network Connections.
Right-click the "Internet Gateway" (should be under the Internet Gateway heading) and choose Properties.
Choose the Settings button, click each ’msmsgs’\or\’msnmsgr’ entry and then choose ’Delete’ to each one.
close Messenger (right-click the Messenger icon, choose Exit), then restart Messenger.

Turn off the QoS Packet Scheduler. To do so, click Start, then click the Control Panel.
If you’re in category view click Network and Internet connections then click Network Connections.
Right click your network/internet connection, then click Properties.
Uncheck the QoS Packet Scheduler, then reboot and try again.

Every time I go to open messenger I get a box that

MSN MESSENGER KEEPS SIGNING OUT:


1) If you’re using a third-party firewall (Sygate, ZoneAlarm, Norton, etc.)
set Messenger to "ermit All"\or\"Allow" type options in the firewall configuration.

2) If you’re using a router, make sure you have the latest firmware from
your router manufacturer. As well, you might try setting your computers local IP into
the routers DMZ setting (see documentation on how to do this).

3) If you see the disconnection problem on a corporate network, the network
may be timing out your settings -- in this case, you might want to ask your system
administrator to adjust the corporate internet sharing solution/firewall (if possible).

4) Finally, this can also happen due to a lack of bandwidth. If you have Kazaa, WinMX, GNUtella\or\some other file sharing-type application\or\something else that takes considerable amounts of bandwidth, you may want to shut it down and see if that helps the situation (even if you’re using a high speed connection, these applications can use most of the resources of your connection).


If messenger hangs at startup it could be router firmware. Upgrade ur firmware.
